ChristianaCare Union Hospital is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to support the Emergency Department leadership team. The ANM will manage staff, assist the Nurse Manager, and help ensure high-quality patient care on an off-shift schedule with some day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing required; MSN preferred.
• Five years of clinical and leadership experience preferred.
• Current nursing licensure and specialty certification.
• Current BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Supervises nursing and technical personnel; assesses staff proficiency and manages staffing and scheduling.
• Participates in hiring, promotion, and termination decisions; acts as a role model.
• Develops, implements, and monitors performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Identifies strategies to enhance staff knowledge and clinical competencies.
• Analyzes administrative and operational functions; implements system-wide improvements.
