Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited veterinary technician program with >1 year of veterinary medicine experience or 2+ years of veterinary medicine experience.
• Registered as a Veterinary Technician (VT) or Provisional Veterinary Technician (PVT) through DORA.
• Veterinary Practice Act requires CACVT/DORA certification for VT titles.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency and critical care nursing services with triage, stabilization, and monitoring.
• Perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under clinician direction.
• Monitor high-risk patients and adjust management based on data.
• Collaborate with clinicians, students, interns, residents, referring vets, and clients.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentor staff and students.
