Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health discipline.
• Massachusetts state-issue clinical license (LICSW/LMHC).
• 3–5 years of clinical experience, hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial emergency interviews and diagnostic evaluations to determine level of care.
• Obtain collateral information from family, other providers, and state agencies to support decisions.
• Document assessments, interventions, and plans in the EMR per HIPAA and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with ED staff and outside agencies for discharge planning and referrals.
