DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Monitor and report emergencies, maintenance problems, health and safety concerns, and lease violations that pose a threat to the health and safety of residents or the property. An emergency is any situation which is not under control and may result in injury, death or damage to the property.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to emergencies by first calling 911 and then the Manager or Regional Property Supervisor. Remain at the property until contacted with instructions.
• Retain a list of emergency contact numbers for Charities Housing and service providers at all times.
• Set a schedule with the Regional Property Supervisor. Any schedule modification requires prior approval.
• Ensure emergency contacts and family follow the Code of Conduct at all times while on property.
• Do not enforce policies or interview residents about after‑hour or overnight guests or other lease violators. Monitor and report only.
• Conduct after‑hours walkthrough of the property’s exterior common grounds including parking lot; fill out work order requests on the Maintenance Request Form with all relevant information such as date received and deliver to Manager/Assistant Manager the following work day.
• Inform Charities Housing if absent from the property for one or more consecutive nights.
• Unlock vacant apartments for vendor work as needed.
• When needed, clean or pick up debris around common areas during walkthrough.
• Post general notices (no legal notices).
• Post warnings on cars without permits and forward request to tow service.
• Forward emergency calls to Manager.
• Report resident activity that violates the lease.
• Enter all hours worked on a timecard.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

No relocation benefits will be provided.

Salary: $18.45 per hour
