• Use a computer‑aided dispatch (CAD) system to record incident details.
• Distribute dispatches to Police, Fire, and Medical units per guidelines.
• Monitor radio traffic for public‑safety units.
• Access nationwide databases to locate records for responders.
• Send emergency alerts to the public.

Position Overview

The Town of Vail is hiring Emergency Communications Specialists.

We are looking for a Public Safety Emergency Communications Specialist to work in our state‑of‑the‑art communication facility in Vail, CO. In this role you will be an essential member of the team that dispatches emergency service calls 24/7 for 13 public‑safety agencies in Eagle County.

Compensation & Bonus

Hourly pay: $32.00 becomes $33.20 after training. Hiring bonus: $6,000 paid in four installments of $1,500 each.

Responsibilities
