Job summary

Regional 911 Intake Solutions seeks a police dispatcher in Brantwood, WI. You will receive emergency and nonemergency requests, document details, assign calls to officers, monitor status, and relay updates. Training may be provided; a high school diploma is commonly required.

Dispatch work may involve night or weekend shifts, confidentiality, and use of records systems. Excellent communication and multitasking skills are essential for safe, effective operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or recognized equivalent is commonly required.
Ability to type accurately and communicate clearly by radio.
Experience with dispatch or related certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

Receive emergency and nonemergency requests for police assistance.
Document incident locations, descriptions, vehicle details, and hazards.
Assign calls to officers according to priority and procedures.
Monitor officer status, radio traffic, and requests for assistance.
Relay updates about incidents and safety concerns.
Perform authorized records inquiries after training.
Coordinate with neighboring agencies and other services.
Maintain clear incident records and safeguard restricted information.
