Job summary

During probation, you must obtain FCIC/NCIC and Florida 9-1-1 Public Safety Telecommunicator credentials. The role requires accuracy, calm decision-making, and ability to work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Pre-employment testing is required.
• Background investigation and related checks will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Receive 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls and enter data into the CAD system.
• Dispatch emergency responders using dispatch equipment and systems.
• Create reports and testify in court with accurate information.
• Maintain shift records and operational logs.
