Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and report critical information during emergencies.
• Operate CAD and other public-safety communications equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prioritize 911 and non-emergency calls and digital requests for help.
• Provide pre-arrival medical or safety instructions when appropriate.
• Dispatch units per policy and maintain call logs and statistics.
• Transmits and relays information across agencies; monitor status and locations of units.
• Coordinate with other agencies and ensure effective communication within the team.
