Qualifications

• Successful completion of the 911 dispatch field training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive and route calls using dispatch systems; prioritize urgency.
• Dispatch law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel per FCC regulations.
• Provide clear, reassuring information to distressed callers and give pre-arrival instructions.
• Monitor incidents and relay updates; maintain real-time documentation.
• Use mapping tools to verify locations and direct responders efficiently.
• Maintain TIME System entries and ensure compliance with protocols.
