Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; training in computers is a plus.
• No prior experience required, but public safety/customer service experience is desirable.
• Ability to work a variable shift as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch emergency and routine calls for the city Police Department.
• Monitor radio traffic and transmit information to officers and units as needed.
• Enter and retrieve information from SPOTS and in-house computer systems.
• Maintain logs and assist with reception duties as required.
• Ensure accurate, timely communication between officers, partners, and the public.
