  • Experience interacting with the public.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, evaluates, and processes emergency and non-emergency calls for Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS Departments; dispatches patrol, fire, and EMS units; maintains, types, and files records and documents.
  • Acts with limited supervision and makes decisions without immediate supervisor consultation.
  • Responds to radio calls from law enforcement and emergency personnel; backup communications for other agencies.
  • Maintains logs, operates audio logging equipment, and manages local databases and reports.
