Job summary

Banner Nutex Health's Emergency Center seeks a PRN Patient Services Representative (PSR) to ensure smooth check-in and check-out and accurate patient registration.

This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to patient confidentiality and safety, supporting a compassionate, efficient ER environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and at least two years as a PSR in a hospital, ER, or clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of PSR experience in hospital, ER, or clinic.
• Experience with medical registration, admitting, and ER scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front desk operations: greet patients, collect demographics, and guide services.
• Handle billing support: collect co-pays and reconcile accounts.
• Maintain logs and ensure signatures for billing accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment and office supplies.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Attend staff meetings and assist with additional tasks as needed.
