Qualifications

• Completion of a unit secretary program is desired.
• Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Tech in a hospital setting is desired.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent and completion of formal training program preferred.
• Oklahoma Long Term Care Aide Certification, EMT program completion and/or AUA program completion.

Responsibilities

• Assists the nursing staff in administering direct and indirect patient care by assuming clerical and receptionist duties.
• Performs specialized technical skills as required.
• Reports any unusual incidents or findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintains a clean and safe physical environment of the area for all age groups.
