Job summary

Basic computer skills and ability to work with Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with physicians, staff, patients and families.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians and nurses with technical patient care (phlebotomy, transporting patients, monitoring vital signs).
Document information and communicate patient observations to the nurse.
Process daily charges and related procedures in the EHR.
Coordinate communications (phone, paging, electronic, EMS) to facilitate patient care.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper safety precautions.
Monitor and troubleshoot equipment; arrange major repairs as needed.
