Job summary

Huntsville Hospital in Alabama is seeking an ER Attendant to perform care activities and related services for emergent and urgent needs in the Emergency Department. You will assist the RN and physician with clinical tasks and contribute to patient comfort.

The role includes clerical duties using computer desktop applications, orientation and training of personnel, and working under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Some college and CPR/BLS certification support development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Some college coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform care activities and related services for emergent and urgent needs.
• Assist the RN and physician with functions in the Emergency Department.
• Work under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Perform clerical duties using computer desktop applications.
