Hanover County Government is seeking an Emergency Services, Co-Response, and Same Day Access Clinician to provide same-day behavioral health services to county residents in crisis and those seeking ongoing supports. You will work within an interdisciplinary network including law enforcement, hospitals, probation, schools, and regional crisis services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree leading to a clinical license is required.
• Six months clinical experience minimum or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Higher ladder levels require LCSW or LPC certification.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial screenings to determine services needs and appropriateness of requested services.
• Provides initial diagnostic assessments and develops service plans.
• Provides individual, family and group therapy.
• Provides outreach, crisis intervention, and pre-admission screenings.
• Provides treatment planning and case coordination for assigned cases.
• Completes paperwork, documentation and files as required.
• Participates in consultation and education activities in the community as assigned.
• Performs related work as assigned.
• May work outside of regular business hours.
