Job summary

Hanover County Government is seeking a part-time Same Day Access Clinician to provide same-day behavioral health assessment to residents. This non-benefited role is two days per week, preferably Monday and Tuesday, offering a meaningful impact while advancing your career in an award-winning workplace.

The position involves crisis services, outreach, and coordination across clinic, home, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree leading to clinical license with at least six months of clinical experience.
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable for entry-level levels.
• Higher ladder levels require LCSW or LPC licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial screenings to determine services needs and appropriateness of requested services.
• Provide initial diagnostic assessments and develop service plans.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy.
• Provide outreach, crisis intervention, and pre-admission screenings.
• Provide treatment planning and case coordination for assigned cases.
• Complete paperwork, documentation and files as required.
• Participate in consultation and education activities in the community as assigned.
• May work outside of regular business hours.
