Job summary

Grace Medical Center, part of LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, is seeking a Clinical Consultant to perform comprehensive Behavioral Health assessments, crisis intervention, and care recommendations for patients in the Emergency Department and related settings. The role requires 2-3 years experience, an MSW or clinical counseling degree, Maryland LCSW/LCPC/psychology licensure, and BLS.

• Must have clinical credentialing and licensure in Maryland.
• Experience coordinating care for psychiatric patients in acute settings.
• Proven ability to collaborate with ED teams and psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Provide Behavioral Health assessment and crisis intervention in ED and other areas as needed.
• Collaborate with ED attending provider and psychiatrist to plan next level of care.
• Document psychiatric disposition plan for ED patients.
• Provide updates to ED team and supervise Crisis Intervention Associates.
• Communicate care plans with patients, families, colleagues and management.
