Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and to deliver high-quality care and customer service to patients.

Starting at $50,000 per year with credit given for experience; Kansas Advanced EMT certification and a valid driver’s license are required. The role involves patient assessment, documentation, and ambulance operation in accordance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Kansas Advanced EMT certification required.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Ability to pass the PAT.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine required care using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment with confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and relations.
