Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service.

As part of AMR, you will assess patients, determine necessary care, document information and provide safe, compassionate care in fast-paced environments, following company policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Driver's License required.
• National or State AEMT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Pass Physical Agility Test required.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills to provide care including communications, equipment, cleaning procedures, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and relations.
