Job summary

Wolt is seeking a versatile Tax Technology Manager to connect tax, technology, and data across the EMEA region and beyond. You will shape tax-tech solutions, partnering with tax, engineering, finance and data ops to ensure compliant, scalable processes.

You don't need to be a developer, but you will translate regulatory requirements into actionable system specs, drive automation, govern changes, and build a joint roadmap with cross-functional teams, including travel as required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of indirect tax (especially VAT), e-invoicing, and digital tax compliance frameworks in the EMEA region.
• Experience supporting tax technology solutions in a multinational environment.
• Strong collaboration with data and automation teams and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate tax-related technology implementations, ensuring compliance with invoicing and VAT mandates.
• Represent Tax in engineering, product, and finance initiatives to embed tax requirements in systems.
• Partner with vendors and internal owners to integrate and maintain tax compliance tools.
• Drive governance, security, and change management for tax technology initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a roadmap with cross-functional teams balancing priorities and capacity.
