Job summary

Axon is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join its contracts and corporate team. You will structure, draft and negotiate high-volume commercial contracts across SaaS, hardware and services for global sales. You will help evolve contract processes, templates, and risk governance while mentoring junior staff.

You will report to the Deputy General Counsel, collaborate with Sales, IT, and Engineering, and may travel up to 15% to support regional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating SaaS, hardware and services contracts.
• Knowledge of procurement laws and processes in EMEA, UK and EU.
• J.D. and active bar membership in at least one US state or UK/EU authorization.

Responsibilities

• Support the EMEA region sales teams and potentially other regions as demand dictates.
• Provide legal advice on transactional matters relating to Axon’s product sales and risk analyses.
• Draft, refine and maintain contract templates; oversee contract lifecycle processes.
• Lead and mentor Contracts Managers; set risk thresholds and governance playbooks.
• Travel up to 15% as needed.
