Ellie Mental Health - 085 in Dothan, AL is seeking a Trauma Focused Therapist (LIC/AL licensure) to provide EMDR- and trauma-informed therapy. The role supports clients across ages with a focus on trauma, PTSD, and related conditions, using evidence-based approaches and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
• Active Alabama licensure or associate-level registration.
• 2+ years of clinical therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with EMDR, Brainspotting, or trauma-focused treatments preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
• Strong communication skills and professional boundaries.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with EHR systems, insurance billing, and community resources.

Responsabilités

• Complete diagnostic assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality, trauma-informed therapy.
• Use evidence-based and creative therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain a caseload of 27+ sessions per week for full-time clinicians.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in clinical meetings, consultation, and training.
