Ellie Mental Health in Birmingham, AL seeks a Trauma Focused Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) dedicated to trauma-informed care. You will conduct diagnostic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide high-quality therapy with EMDR and related modalities.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, MFT, Psychology, or related field.
• Active Alabama licensure or associate-level registration.
• 2+ years of clinical therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with EMDR, Brainspotting, or other evidence-based trauma treatments preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
• Strong communication skills and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We're seeking a Trauma Focused Therapist who is passionate about helping clients heal and grow. We're especially interested in clinicians with experience in EMDR, Brainspotting, trauma-focused therapy, or other trauma-informed approaches.

Preferred Licensure

• LPC or ALC
• LCSW or LMSW
• LMFT or LMFT-A
• Clinicians expected to achieve full licensure within six months are encouraged to apply
