Job summary

Colorado Women’s Center in Boulder is seeking an EMDR trained therapist to provide evidence-based EMDR therapy to clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and related concerns. You will assess, build EMDR treatment plans, and guide clients through EMDR sessions to process distressing memories, while also serving individual clients for other concerns.

The role offers a steady referral flow, a base pay while you build, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• Colorado license or candidate license required (LPC/LPCC, LCSW/LSW/SWC, LMFT/MFTC, or PhD/PsyD/PSYC candidate).
• Completed EMDR basic training (EMDRIA-approved or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and therapy to Colorado Women’s Center clients in person and online.
• Provide consultations to clients and staff.
• Conduct assessments and form EMDR treatment plans.
• Complete intake screenings for new clients.
• Write client notes and other required documentation.
• Manage client scheduling and caseload flow.
• Attend staff and professional development meetings as scheduled.
