Job summary

Cove Forge Behavioral Health System in Williamsburg, PA, seeks an EMDR Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and provide life-changing care for adults with behavioral health disorders.

You will assess, diagnose, and deliver clinical services, apply EMDR therapy, and collaborate to create personalized treatment plans. A Master’s degree and licensure are required, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field required.
• One or more years’ experience with comparable patient population required.
• EMDR training and experience required.
• Requisite state or national licensure for professional therapy providers or eligible for state licensure as a professional therapy provider.

Responsibilities

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions for diagnosed emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Conduct a psychosocial assessment and develop an initial discharge plan.
• Conduct individual, group or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan.
• Provide initial treatment planning based on assessment and coordinate additional services as needed.
• Maintain documentation of therapy services according to facility and professional standards.
• Maintain a caseload as assigned.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with staff to facilitate services.
• May provide services in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• May perform case management, discharge or aftercare planning as needed.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers; address patient needs and safety.
