MVP Recovery in Media, PA is seeking a Trauma-Focused EMDR Therapist to deliver outpatient behavioral health services for individuals with substance use disorders and trauma-related symptoms. Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Current, active independent clinical license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
• EMDR certification.
• 3 year minimum with substance abuse population.

Responsibilities

• Provide groups and individual outpatient psychotherapy to clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.
• Provide trauma-focused treatment utilizing EMDR in accordance with EMDR protocols and best practices.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments and level-of-care requirements.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions including EMDR, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and other approaches.
• Assess readiness and clinical stability prior to trauma processing.
• Monitor response and modify interventions based on progress.
• Collaborate with medical and psychiatric providers and treatment team.
• Document progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge documentation.
