Job summary

Air Education and Training Command seeks a qualified operator to maintain and operate an Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) and related utility systems supporting Lackland AFB, Medina Annex, and Kelly Annex. The position emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, safety, and accurate reporting.

The incumbent will monitor HVAC components, diagnose faults, interpret diagrams, and ensure compliant operation of fire and intrusion alarm systems as part of a disciplined engineering team.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS).
  • Troubleshooting and fault-tracing of building utility systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  • Knowledge of HVAC components, airflow, and refrigeration basics.
  • Ability to interpret diagrams, floor plans, and priority lists.
  • Familiarity with safety, environmental, and security rules.
