Job summary

Safran in California seeks an EMC Lab Technician to execute EMC/EMI and electrical qualification tests per DO-160G. You will own the lab equipment inventory, maintenance, calibration status, and ensure audit readiness with approved QTPs.

The role supports internal and external testing programs and works with accredited laboratories to escalate any test anomalies or equipment issues. This position is on-site in Brea, CA with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of EMC/Electrical testing experience, preferably aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of RTCA DO-160G from E/F/G.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute EMC/EMI and Electrical qualification testing per DO-160G and standards.
• Act as primary owner of EMC lab equipment inventory and calibration status.
• Support qualification testing programs and accredited labs.
• Maintain audit readiness and compliance with QTPs.
