Job summary

Masimo in Irvine, CA is hiring an EMC Test Technician to perform EMC testing in the in-house laboratory. The role reports to the Manager, EMC Lab within Hardware Engineering and is on-site in Irvine, CA.

You will conduct RF immunity and emissions tests, prepare reports, and collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot failures and support corrective actions, leveraging EMC software tools. A 3+ year EMC background and an associate degree are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 3+ years of EMC testing experience.
• Knowledge of EMC standards and test methods (IEC 60601-1-2, CISPR, IEC 61000-4).
• Experience with EMC test software such as TDK Lab, TILE, EMC32 or BAT-EMC.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as medical devices, defense, or aviation is a plus.
