Job summary

RAVE Aerospace in California seeks an EMC Lab Technician to execute EMC/EMI and Electrical qualification testing per DO-160G, Boeing, and Airbus requirements. You will be the technical owner of the EMC lab, ensuring equipment readiness and calibration.

This role supports internal and external qualification programs, maintains audit readiness with QTPs, and escalates test anomalies or equipment issues as they arise. A hands-on, independent worker thrives in this fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• 3+ years experience in EMC / Electrical testing, preferably aerospace.
• Hands-on knowledge of RTCA DO-160 (E/F/G) and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute EMC/EMI and Electrical qualification testing per DO-160G, Boeing, and Airbus standards.
• Act as primary owner of EMC lab equipment inventory, calibration status, and readiness.
• Support internal and external qualification testing programs and accredited laboratories.
• Maintain continuous audit readiness and compliance with approved Qualification Test Procedures (QTPs).
• Identify, document, and escalate test anomalies or equipment issues.
