Job summary

Boviteq in Hilmar, CA is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Embryology to join our team. The role supports IVF, embryo production, and related lab processes with high accuracy and adherence to protocols and regulatory requirements.

The position is permanent, full-time, with a salary range of $23.00–$25.00 per hour and opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge reproductive technologies for dairy genetics worldwide.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of microscopes, pipetting and aseptic techniques is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Previous agriculture experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Embryo Production process.
• Maturation, fertilization, and culture of bovine oocytes.
• Freezing, grading, and packaging of embryos for shipment.
• Comply with production SOPs, schedules and USDA export regulations.
• Maintain and monitor materials, equipment and data entry.
• Record keeping and care maintenance of equipment.
