Job summary

PepWear, based in Cedar Hill, Texas, is seeking an entry-level Embroidery Trimmer for 1st shift. This position offers learning opportunities within the Embroidery Department and room to grow across production teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include finishing embroidered items, weeding and pressing vinyl, preparing garments for shipping, and supporting the screen printing department when needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and finish embroidered products.
• Weed and press cut vinyl products.
• Press and create buttons.
• Fold, wrap, and label garments, including operating a shrink wrap machine.
• Sort, stuff, and label items for shipping.
• Assist in the screen printing department when needed, washing, boxing, catching.
• Other duties as needed in other production departments.

Embroidery Trimmer - 1st Shift

PepWear, based in Cedar Hill, Texas, is a leading, growing company that produces and sells screen-printed and embroidered apparel and commemorative plaques for school events and to school groups across the country. With a focus on service, integrity, and learning, our Team makes the difference!

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who wants to join our Embroidery Department Team. This is an entry‑level position with ample opportunity to grow and learn new skills in this department and in other PepWear departments.

Candidates must be comfortable working with quick turnarounds in a detail‑oriented work environment. The ability to learn quickly and be willing to take on new challenges is a must. Experience in the printing industry or another fast‑paced business is a big plus. He/She will report to the Plaque Department Manager.

Job Duties:

• Cleaning and finishing embroidered products
• Weeding and pressing cut vinyl products
• Pressing and creating buttons
• Folding, wrapping, tagging garments, including operating a shrink wrap machine
• Sorting, stuffing, and labeling items for shipping
• Assist in the screen printing department when needed, washing, boxing, catching
• Other duties as needed in other production departments

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to details
• Ability to follow directions and processes
• Physically able to stand for long hours if needed and lift 25 pounds
• Be a team player willing to help when and wherever needed

Preferred:

• Experience in the printing industry: screen printing, embroidery, wide format, or paper

Shift Hours

1 st Shift morning/afternoon hours 6 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Other Information

• Regular work hours are daytime, Monday through Friday
• Extended hours and evening work may be necessary during peak seasons
• A Criminal Background Check is required
