Job summary

Brandability Inc. is seeking an experienced embroidery operator to operate and maintain computerized embroidery machines on diverse fabrics. The role includes selecting designs, preparing materials, and ensuring precise stitching and color matching, while maintaining quality and production records.

The position requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, with collaboration across design and production teams to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Operate computerized embroidery machines and set up designs.
• Select appropriate embroidery designs and prepare the design files.
• Prepare fabric/materials, hooping and stabilizing before stitching.
• Run and monitor machines for proper stitching and thread tension.
• Change thread colors as needed and ensure accurate color matching.
• Inspect embroidery for defects such as thread breaks or misalignment.
• Perform routine cleaning, oiling and minor repairs on machines.
• Manage embroidery supplies inventory and request orders as needed.
• Record design specs, colors used, production time and quantities.
• Collaborate with designers, customers and team members on requirements.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fabrics, load designs, and ensure correct thread and stabilizer.
