Sew & Sew Embroidery in Kent, OH is seeking a detail‑oriented Embroidery Production Specialist to operate Barudan multi‑head machines and turn orders into high‑quality embroidery on apparel and promotional items. This full‑time role requires standing most of the shift and handling materials with care in a clean, climate‑controlled shop.

You’ll setup, hoop, load designs, monitor runs, and ensure accuracy from work orders while supporting a collaborative team that values quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Stand and move for an 8–10 hour shift.
• Lift up to 30+ lbs.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Interpret design placements, thread colors, garment details, and special instructions.
• Cross-check orders against purchase orders for accuracy (logo, size, color, placement).
• Set up multi-head embroidery machines: load thread, route thread, manage bobbin tension, change needles, oil/maintain as needed.
• Load embroidery files from the work-order system into machines for each run.
• Hoop garments precisely for each head with correct placement, stabilizer, and tension.
• Monitor runs, report stitching defects or machine issues promptly.
• Use threads, stabilizers, foam, and other supplies to complete orders to standards.
• Trim finished garments and keep the production area organized; support team as needed.
