Job summary

Pure Choice Apparel is seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator to run the Ricoma 3-head commercial embroidery machine. The role involves setting up jobs, loading designs, hoop­ing garments, and selecting threads to ensure high-quality output.

The ideal candidate has commercial embroidery experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced apparel production environment. Per hour pay is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Commercial embroidery experience required.
• Experience with multi-head embroidery machines preferred.
• Experience with Ricoma or comparable equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot common embroidery and machine issues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliability and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle apparel/production materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Ricoma 3-head embroidery machine.
• Set up embroidery jobs, load designs, and hoop garments and hats.
• Select and change thread colors and needles as needed.
• Monitor production and identify thread breaks, tension, registration, and stitching issues.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Inspect finished products for quality, placement, and design accuracy.
• Complete jobs according to production schedules and deadlines.
• Minimize errors, garment waste, and rework.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate production issues to the Production Manager.
• Collaborate with production team for efficient workflow.
