Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders and production specifications.
- Set up digitized embroidery files for production; digitizing experience is a plus.
- Set up, operate, and oversee multiple 6-head industrial embroidery machines.
- Troubleshoot machine and production issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Monitor workflow to ensure production deadlines are achieved while maintaining high quality standards.
- Work with a variety of materials including hoodies, fleece, polos, jackets, caps, beanies, bucket hats, towels, bags, and other promotional products.
- Apply proper stabilizers, thread selections, and embroidery techniques based on fabric type.
- Maintain communication with production teams regarding schedules, priorities, and project status.
- Accurately log daily production data and maintain production records.
- Perform basic machine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
- Train and mentor new employees and provide ongoing support to the embroidery team.
- Supervise department personnel and hold employees accountable for productivity, attendance, and conduct.
- Assist in other departments as business needs require.
Desired Background/Skills:
- Significant experience operating industrial embroidery machines.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of embroidery production processes and quality standards.
- Experience working with a variety of fabrics, garments, and promotional products.
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery and production issues independently.
- Familiarity with digitized embroidery files; digitizing experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record
Other Information:
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Location: Newfields, NH
- Pay: $20.00 – $24.00/hour DOE
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
