Job summary

Staples Promotional Products, a division of Staples, is seeking a proactive embroidery production associate. You will inspect embroidered items, place designs per work orders, and prepare goods for shipping in a temperature-controlled environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, removing backings, stacking, sorting by color/size, and attaching required tags. Strong math and reading skills are essential, plus the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years knowledge of related embroidery equipment including their uses, adjustments, and maintenance.
• 1+ years of utilizing basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 3-4 feet high in order to move and stack boxes and totes full of product.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).

• Inspect embroidered products (e.g., shirts, sweatshirts, coats, sweatpants, shorts, etc.) and prepare them for shipping or storage.
• Use work order to determine proper design placement on the garment.
• Review work orders.
• Remove embroidery design backings.
• Fold and stack package products.
• Sort finished products according to colors and sizes.
• Attach barcodes, stickers, and hang tags to products when necessary.
• Complete production tracking paperwork and verifies that it is accurate.

Pay: This is a Piece Rate position starting at $21.25/Hourly (*$1.50/Hourly Shift Differential included)

Shift Hours: 3:15pm-12:45am/Monday-Thursday and 12:00pm-4:00pm/Fridays

What you’ll be doing:

• Work in a temperature-controlled building/environment.

• 1+ years of utilizing basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 3-4 feet high in order to move and stack boxes and totes full of product
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and grip throughout work shift
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Skilled in troubleshooting and solving problems
