Job summary

Staples Promotional Products – a division of Staples – is seeking an embroidery technician to inspect and prepare embroidered garments for shipping in a temperature-controlled facility. You will read work orders, determine proper design placement, and ensure quality through detailed checks and accurate paperwork.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend work orders.
• Attention to detail to maintain embroidery quality.

Responsibilities

• Work in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Inspect embroidered products and prepare for shipping or storage.
• Use work orders to determine design placement on garments.
• Review work orders and ensure accuracy.
• Remove embroidery backing and prepare items for packaging.
• Fold and stack products and sort by color/size.
• Attach barcodes or tags when needed.
• Complete production tracking paperwork and ensure accuracy.
