Job summary

Strategic Factory in Owings Mills, MD is seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator to operate and maintain our embroidery equipment, set up machines, load materials, and input designs into software to produce high-quality embroidered products.

You will monitor the run, inspect finished items for defects, perform basic machine maintenance, and coordinate with the design and production teams to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate embroidery machines according to specifications and input designs into the machine software.
• Prepare materials by hooping and securing them for each job, selecting fabrics and threads.
• Monitor production quality, inspect finished products for defects, and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Collaborate with design team and production staff to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of experience operating and embroidery machine
• Familiarity with different types of fabrics and threads

Computer Skills

• Basic computer skills for inputting and adjusting designs
• Proficiency with embroidery design software

Other Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to write effective correspondence to customers and coworkers
• Vision abilities required by this job include being able to see clearly at 20 inches or less, distinguish colors, and adjust focus
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve minor technical issues
