Job summary

Namify is seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator to run machines and produce embroidered apparel. This entry-level role includes heavy training and involves working between two stations. You must manage time, take direction, be a team player, and show a strong desire to learn and improve processes. The position reports to the Embroidery Manager and operates in a warehouse setting, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

  • Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States.
  • Must perform pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimum quality on promotional items (thread tension, backing, etc.).
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Function in a fast-paced environment with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure accurate order fulfillment (logo, size & colors, placement, apparel).
  • Proficient in iPad and computer skills required.
  • Follow standard processes set for each task.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet goals for each process assigned.
  • Communicate with management, various departments, and team members to maintain quality, efficiency and satisfy customer needs.
  • Ensure all waste is reported accurately and disposed of properly.
  • Accept and apply feedback given by management and peers.

SUMMARY:

The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for running the machines to create embroidered apparel. This position is an entry level position with heavy training. This individual will work primarily between two stations. This individual must be able to manage their own time, take direction effectively, function as a a team player, and have a high desire to learn and improve processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure optimum quality on each promotional item such as correct thread tension, backing, etc.

SCHEDULE:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (Full-time)
WORK SPACE INFO:

This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.

TRAINING:

Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.

SAFETY:

Each incumbent is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling self-aid/buddy-aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks as requested, and serving on safety committees and teams as requested. In addition, the incumbent must accept that they have responsibility for maintaining the safety of themselves and others by adhering to all written and verbal instructions, promptly reporting and/or correcting all hazards or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to site leads and management on all safety issues.
