Job summary

UnitX seeks an Embodied AI Engineer to architect high‑fidelity physics simulations and deploy ML models for autonomous factory robotics. You will bridge sim‑to‑real gaps and build data flywheels to continuously train foundation models on massive sensor data.

You will advance RL/IL/Behavior Cloning for adaptable robotic skills and optimize edge deployment across global factory networks, ensuring low latency and reliability in production environments.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, ML or closely related field.
• Strong production‑level coding with Python and C++ expertise.
• Deep experience with modern DL frameworks (PyTorch/JAX/TensorFlow).
• Experience leveraging physics engines (Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, Drake) for model validation.

Responsibilities

• Architect intelligent control systems that fuse multi‑modal sensor data for real‑time robotic decisions.
• Bridge the sim‑to‑real divide with physics‑based environments to analyze real‑world failure modes.
• Build robust data flywheels by mixing real sensor data with synthetic data to train foundation models.
• Pioneer adaptive behaviors using RL, IL and BC to generalize robotic skills across tasks.
• Scale deployments to edge devices across a global factory network with low latency and reliability.
