Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) seeks an Embedded Software Development & Integration Engineer to lead NA‑market vehicle control software concepts and prototype new control algorithms.

You will work with MATLAB/Simulink, generate C code for ECU integration, and analyze CAN/LIN/Automotive Ethernet traffic while mentoring juniors. You will collaborate with Hyundai/Kia/Genesis teams, R&D HQ in Korea, and external partners to advance vehicle control capabilities in a dynamic, global

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, computer, electrical, mechanical, software engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of embedding control software development experience.
• Knowledge of Model-Based Design in MATLAB/Simulink and auto-code generation.
• Hands-on with data acquisition and analysis tools; ETAS INCA, Vehicle SPY, Vector, etc.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Valid Driver's License and safe driving record.

• Lead development and prototyping of vehicle control software for NA market.
• Craft control concepts using AI/ML and high-resolution navigation data.
• Improve production controls by building, testing, and refining algorithms.
• Utilize MATLAB/Simulink and model-based methods; generate C code for ECU integration.
• Perform CAN/LIN/Automotive Ethernet traffic analysis using Vector/ETAS tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with universities and industry partners.
• Coordinate with R&D Headquarters in South Korea on global vehicle control solutions.
