Job summary

Vertiv Corporation invites an Engineering Intern to join our Core Engineering team, focusing on hardware and firmware development in a Yocto Linux environment. You will gain hands-on experience across design, test, and GenAI-enabled tooling while contributing to innovative projects.

This internship emphasizes agile methods, data quality monitoring, and a learning mindset in data analytics. You are pursuing a degree in computer engineering or computer science and have foundational Front-End tech

Qualifications

Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Knowledge of Front-End development technologies such as JavaScript, JS Frameworks (AngularJS, JQuery, etc.), HTML5 concepts, CSS abstraction (Less, SASS etc.), and task runners (Grunt/Gulp etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated work ethic and detail-orientation
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and produce high-quality work
Collaboration and teamwork

Responsibilities

Development of firmware/software on embedded Yocto Linux environment.
Create new features/software/development with the use of GenAI tools.
Learn and use Agile Development for product design and test.
Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying discrepancies and resolve them with the team.
Stay updated with trends in data analytics and apply new techniques.
Develop original ideas to push the boundaries for our products.
