Job summary

Per Se Group is seeking a Turnaround Mechanical Engineer for a 2–2.5 year on-site contract with per diem embedded with a major refinery’s turnaround planning team. You’ll clear RFIs, interpret piping specs, develop torque tags and pipe spec forms, managing roughly 1,500 maintenance-driven jobs to prevent stalls.

You should have a mechanical engineering degree and 3–5 years of industrial turnaround experience; you’ll work independently, communicating clearly while coordinating with 10–15 planners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of industrial turnaround experience required.
• Experience supporting at least one industrial turnaround.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently on site.

Responsibilities

• Embedded with refinery turnaround planning team to support engineering needs.
• Clear RFIs, interpret piping specs, develop torque tags and pipe spec forms.
• Keep roughly 1,500 maintenance‑driven jobs moving without stalling on engineering questions.
