Actalent is seeking a Software Test Engineer to verify and validate safety-critical embedded software for aircraft and avionics subsystems. The role involves developing and executing formal test procedures, performing I/O verification, and supporting software/hardware integration in a laboratory setting.

You will collaborate with software, systems, and hardware teams to ensure compliance with aviation, space, and defense requirements and contribute to certification and airworthiness efforts.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year in software testing, integration, verification, or validation.
• At least 1 year performing hardware/software integration testing and I/O verification.
• Experience with embedded software or avionics systems and formal test procedures.
• Experience documenting test results and working in lab environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration across disciplines.
