Job summary

TK Elevator in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Software Engineer III to contribute to the full life cycle of software applications, including design and implementation of build, release, deployment, and configuration activities.

The role requires 2+ years of embedded software design experience, a BS in computer science or related field, and knowledge of C#, C++, Python, and JavaScript. HTML5/Angular and hardware interfaces (USB/RS232/CAN/Ethernet) are a plus. Willingness to travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in programming/systems or computer science or related field.
• 2+ years embedded software design experience.
• Working knowledge of C#, C++, Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with HTML5, Angular and JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience with USB, RS232, CAN and Ethernet.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Engineer software components to meet solution requirements including specifications, costs, quality, time, information security and data protection.
• Ensure a departmental methodology is followed group wide to analyze and build required components and interfaces.
• Code, debug, test, document and communicate product development stages.
• Interpret the application design to develop a suitable application in accordance with customer needs.
• Verify and test system capacity and performance and documentation of successful integration.
