Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for the Prime Air team in Seattle, WA. You will design, develop, and test embedded or distributed software to enable fast, safe delivery technologies and scale across platforms.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional software experience, knowledge of C/C++, and a track record in embedded development. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, test, and document embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems and services.
Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that fit the overall system architecture.
Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design to delivery and maintenance.
Evaluate and decide on new or existing software products and tools.
Mentor junior development engineers.
