Latitude AI is leading nonvolatile memory management and secure firmware for Ford's automated driving initiatives, with teams across hardware and software domains.

You will lead and grow the engineers responsible for memory, storage drivers, and update workflows, defining the platform's reliability and secure update practices. A strong C++ background and hands-on leadership are essential to drive engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 7+ years in embedded systems software
• Hands-on C++ programming experience in embedded systems
• Experience in engineering management or technical leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team responsible for nonvolatile memory management and storage drivers
• Set technical direction for software updates, packaging, validation and safe rollout
• Oversee memory map design and allocation across memory units
• Manage trusted firmware and secure boot implementation and key lifecycle
• Oversee manufacturing image creation and tooling for device provisioning
• Collaborate with safety/security teams to meet automotive standards
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineering staff
