Job summary

Latitude AI, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, is building automated driving technologies and seeks an Engineering Manager to lead memory and storage software teams for vehicles. You will shape low-level storage drivers and nonvolatile memory strategies, guiding safe software update workflows and secure boot practices.

You will mentor engineers, own the memory map, and oversee firmware provisioning while collaborating with silicon partners to meet automotive safety and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics plus relevant experience.
• Hands-on embedded software development experience in memory/storage domains.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering secure software updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers responsible for nonvolatile memory management and storage drivers.
• Set technical direction for software update packaging, validation and rollout.
• Own the memory map and memory allocation across platforms and storage units.
• Oversee secure boot, key lifecycle management, and firmware provisioning workflows.
• Partner with safety and security teams to meet automotive standards.
